Inconsistency of Foster Care, is what I should have titled it.

My grandmother says, “tomorrow is not promised, therefore, take advantage of today and worry not about tomorrow.”

Matthew 6:25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry  about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. (34)  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Foster care will teach you not to expect anything for tomorrow! That bed, that you lay in tonight, may not be where you lay your head down tomorrow. You are never too get accustomed to one home, one set of parents; for tomorrow, your social worker will ring the door bell, and you will move; move yet again.

At the age of 13, living in a psych ward, I had experienced 4 different social workers. One for almost every day of the work week. Those who…

I believe that there’s a difference between religion and faith, religion and jesus. i tend to think of religion as tradition that jesus overthrew. i believe in trying to be like christ, but not fit into what customs often tells us and blocks the message of God

    My definition of religion:

The core foundation of hypocrites who strongly hold beliefs that binds, and suppress people. about one self A hidden mask of lies that is portrayed as truth.

    Religion:

    1. the box that keeps people captive but is supposed to promote freedom.

    2. Based on man-made traditions.

    3. the mask that will never offer a resolution

    4. kills and causes war

    5. tells us to lie to ourselves and feel holy and sanctified

    6. tells us how to judge and to take the role of “god” for ourselves

    7. has attempted to kill faith

    8. Filled with ignorant people who cannot think for themselves

    9. allows for excuses to atrocious behaviors

    10. A political statement and a mockery of “GOD”

    11. Religion doesn’t know GOD!

    12. Religion is a BOX!

    13. Religion is a curse not a blessing. Religion is a arrogant, self-centered, self authorized, and demeaning rhetorical thought

I am a Christian. Not Religious. I don’t believe in tradition. I believe in breaking it.

I hate it when people refer to me as religious. I’m not.

I am a Christian. I was taught that a Christian is to be “Christ – Liked.” The Greeks gave us the name.

Jesus healed on the sabbath, talked to the Gentiles, converted a murdered into an Apostle. Jesus was not religious. He defeated the box that “religion” made!

Therefore I am Christ – Like.

My blog post typically end with biblical passages. They are inspiring. I do not believe in using the bible as doctrine for hate, intolerance, and discrimination.

No! I’ll leave that to the “religious” people.

I am not better than anyone, never will be. I’m human, and with every flaw possible. I have been blessed with the gift of forgetfulness. I don’t hold grudges, and I am not consumed by anger, or hate…

    Dear Maya Angelou,

I pray you read this letter from your home in heaven. I wanted to say thank-you for the time that you spent on earth fighting for civil rights, teaching, advocating and speaking for those whom voice was not heard; through poetry, dance, singing and acting. You were more than an activist. You were more than a writer/poet. You were more than a scholar. You were much more. You were a child of the high king who entrusted you with history. You were the daughter of a noble leader who gave you a sacred task. You were the student of the king of kings who asked you to teach lessons of love, life, integrity and spirituality. You were the student of all scholars who entrusted you with wisdom because you asked him so liberally. You were a daughter, mother, teacher, leader and a African monarch.

    Your death scorns…
